Now to be quite honest I thought the band had a odd, different sound when I first heard them. This was before when Spencer was the lead singer. To be exact the song was "Cities Built On Sand". My first thought was "wait turn this off". I remember hearing it from one of my youtube video suggestions. A few weeks later I had listened to the same video and at the moment I was just awed at how amazing the bands sound a quality was. I was thinking, "why hadn't noticed this before?" My mind had quickly changed from when I had first heard them. Every since then I was into the band's style of music.
Some months later I had got the news that the band will now be a female fronted band when Sierra was introduced. My though of the band was once again not a really good one. I constantly thought that we really didn't need another Paramore. Once again I was proven wrong. The new VersaEmerge was even better. Sierra brought something that the band never had before. "In Pursuing Design" was the song that I had first heard when Sierra joined the band on their myspace. This was my current "song of the moment". The song was amazing and always sent chills up and down my back. Sierra's voice was so pure and it pierced my ears, in a good way.
I'm really not a concert loving person, but I knew this band was a band I had to see in concert. Amazing is one of the few words I could use to describe them. I remember my first concert I saw them in. They were opening for another band. Now remember this is all before the got signed to FBR. Perfection is all I heard when they preformed. You could definitely tell they weren't studio artists. I loved every moment of the concert and I could honestly say it was one of the best nights of my life.
Now I was really shocked about how much I was into this band. I followed their social links, had all their songs on my i pod, and I went to all the concerts I could. I kinda took a stalkery approach, just kidding. Every time I would hear one of there songs I would tell a whole room the be quiet. The second concert I went to of their the band had something like a meet and greet. They were some of the most down to earth people ever. I was shocked about how nice they were.
Now about three months later I heard they had got signed to Fueled By Ramen. I was excited for them. I knew this was the start of great success for them. I knew that with them being signed they would get the recognition they deserved.
Originality. Something they bring to the music world. They can't be compared to Hey Monday or Paramore or any female fronted band because they are truly unique. Sierra and Blake have nice voices and the other guys do a good job backing them up. They are real people who aren't in it just for the fame, but to make music that people like I can enjoy. They just don't bash instruments and sing, but their lyrics have deep meaning. Even on the "Theatrics" with no words the music that Anthony, Blake, Jerry, and Devin make is refreshed and something new to the rock/alternative world.
You've should've seen my face when I heard they were coming out with an new EP. I was excited and even more excited when they released the songs on their myspace early. I put each song on my myspace and made icons and banners of them to put on my page. I still have yet to buy a hard copy of the EP, but I have it on itunes. I made sure all my friends were introduced to the band. I spread the word pretty quickly and my friends easily ended up loving them.
I wish them the best of luck in the music industry and hope that haters try not to bring them down. They are truly my favorite band. The are real people who share a strong love of music. Each day I listen to at least one of their songs. Clocks is easily one of the best songs ever recorded.
I loVE VersaEmerge <3. _________________ ILYYYY! |

I love VersaEmerge because they are extremely talented, down-to-earth musicians. Their music has a unique edge to it and sounds just as good live as it does recorded. I've saw and had the opprotunity to chat with them twice last year and loved every bit of it. Their lyrics are catchy yet original and I believe they actually care about their fans overall as a band.

| I love versaemerge! I think Sierra's voice is amazing. I really think they are going to go far. They aren't a lot of girl singers around and I think their sound is really unique. I can't wait to see them live in a couple weeks!! |
