Today I found out about a real fast and melodic Skatepunk band, called LOSE THE NAME. They´re really good. Check them if you´re into Crane, Craig´s Brother and Rufio. Real good music!

Fells Point, the new Lose The Name EP,...what can we say? They got it right. Fusing blazing punk with melody and harmonic hooks, this 5 song EP is a shot in the vein for any jaded fan of music who's heard it all before. This is urgent and fresh. Recorded, mixed, and produced with Paul Leavitt(All Time Low, Senses Fail, Don't Look Down) in Baltimore at Valencia Recording, Lose The Name delivers with every song. From the opening guitar in "One More Lie" to the quick tempos and memorable choruses of "Cellophane" and "Dead End," these songs are perfect for any skate/bmx/motocross video. From the driving beats of "Speed Dial" to the bittersweet verses of "Clockwork," Fells Point will be stuck in your head and in your cd player long after the first listen. After years of close calls, Lose The Name captures the sound that they have been chasing all along, a sound they can call their own. |
