Anthony Green, best known as the lead singer of Philadelphia-based progressive punk act Circa Survive, Anthony Green is stepping out on his own with Avalon, acollection of songs penned by Green over the past decade. Recorded in March and named after the town in NJ where it was recorded, Avalon spans Green's adolescence and adulthood and shows him at both his most visceral and vulnerable.

Many of the songs were initially intended for Circa Survive, however Green was unable to verbally express how he envisioned these songs. He ultimately realized that in order to capture the songs the way he intended, he would need to do so on his own. Though Avalon is a solo
effort, Green is still a current member of Circa Survive and will begin
work on the band's next project once his solo tour wraps. Anthony Green is currently available for interviews and will be touring to support the release of his album throughout August and September. The lead single will be "Dear Child (dying to reach you)."
