Sky Eats Airplane will release a 3-song EP, The Sound Of Symmetry, on April 13th. Recorded with up-and-coming producer Taylor Larson at his studio in Bethesda, Maryland, the band intends to let the EP serve as a teaser of a forthcoming full-length, to be recorded this fall. The Sound Of Symmetry will be available exclusively on tour, at MerchNow.com, and digitally.

Secret & Whisper return! The group have posted two new songs entitled Edge Of Wilderness and Warrior today on their myspace. The songs are from their forthcoming album Teenage Fantasy to be released on April 6th via Tooth & Nail Records. Secret And Whisper first lept on the scene with 2008's debut Great White Whale an album as epic bounding as the album's title fusing spacey, ethereal rock with post-hardcore technicality. Taste maker site, absolute Punk said to "Expect stellar things coming from the Canadian band's camp in the near future." 2010 is that future and Teenage Fantasy is coming. Tour dates to be announced shortly as well.
Converge announce European headlining tour in summer 2010

Groundbreaking metal/hardcore band Converge has announced a headlining summer tour in support of 2009's critically acclaimed album Axe To Fall. The dates will include headlining shows as well as the summer festival appearances, including Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Øyafestival in Norway and Eurockéennes Festival in France. On the headlining dates, Converge will be joined by supporting acts Kylesa, Gaza and Kvelertak. Tickets are on sale now. Converge's seventh studio album, Axe To Fall, has catapulted one of underground hardcore/metal's most beloved bands of the last two decades into the sights of mainstream press around the world, becoming one of 2009's top critically received metal albums
and landing the band on dozens of "Best of" year-end lists . Pitchfork.com has called Converge "this generation's Black Flag", while BBC declares the band has delivered their "most accomplished record to date”, which according to NME puts converge “at the top of the hardcore game”

Parkway Drive to start recording third album in march

Australia’s biggest hardcore-metal band Parkway Drive has announced plans to return to the studio to record their third studio album, which is expected to be released later this summer via Epitaph Records. The long-awaited follow-up
to 2007’s hard-hitting breakout album Horizons was written in the band’s hometown of Byron Bay over the past six months and will be recorded in Los Angeles
with celebrated producer Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion) over the coming weeks.

Bad Taste Records has announced earlier the new Danko Jones album "Below The Belt" that will hit the shelves in May. European release dates are spread out between May 10:th and May 14:th, it's coming out in Canada on May 11:th and
in the US on May 18:th. The Australian and South African releases will happen in this time frame as well, exact dates TBC.
