TGL - Sweeter as fiction

TGL is a Pop Punk trio from Greencastle, IN present their debut album "Sweeter As Fiction". The record got released trough Oort/ Lobster records from Santa Babara. Label chief and owner Steve Lurbasky signed the band in 2007. Diverted bands like Over It and Yellowcard started out from his label too. TGL might become the next big thing. Their album "Sweeter As Fiction" got produced by Seth Nederson who also worked with Asteria. The result really turned out good. The singers voice and the instruments are really good to figure out. The record contains ten great Pop Punk songs, all kept in a midtempo manner, fronted by a charismatic singer who got attended by strong guitars, fat basslines and dynamic drum work. The most outstanding track is the title track "Sweeter as fiction" which sounds so gleamy and bright. This soaring track has such an awesome refrain that got attented with hard edged guitars. TGL released a real good debut. I can think of them becoming big in the future.
