In general I can not relate on female fronted Pop artists. But sometimes punk acts with female lead singers can be very good too. Hayley Williams, the 18 year old singer in Paramore has really a beautiful and stunning voice. When she meet the Farro brothers Josh and Zac in 2004, they immediately found the band Paramore, together with Jeremy Davis on bass and Jason Bynum on guitar. The band was together for a few months, when Fueled By Ramen founder John Janick saw them gigging live. He directly signed the band to his label, where they released All We Know Is Falling in the summer of 2005 on. Non stop touring and headliner tours made the band totally well known in the music business. The debut album has sold about 232,235 copies in the US to date. Their music may remind the listener a lot to Avril Lavigne. Honestly this can is true, but Paramore has focussed more on Emo, less on Rock. James Paul Wisner, who worked with acts such as Further Seems Forever, New Found Glory, The Academy Is or Glasseater and Underoath really did a great job on this recording. You really need to check out Paramore, if you´re into well driven Pop Punk tunes with female vocals.
