It seems as if these old punks are getting sentimental, so you find the Joey Cape and Tony Sly (singers of NUFAN and Lagwagon) here with their amazing accoustic release. An awesome recording quality and the way the songs the songs got performed are just impressive. Both singers re-recorded classic NoUse and Lagwagon songs in a accoustic manner. Sometimes you have to listen twice to recognize the song again. Each singer has recorded a brandnew track and put it on the CD. Tony Sly recorded the song “Stunt double”, while Joey recorded “Violet”. Both musicians used several instruments, but Joey Cape has used tons of instruments, like piano, violins, syntheziser and more. His mates from his sideproject Bad Astronaut played with him on this amazing release. I am totally stocked by the version of “tragic vision”. Fans of Second Hand Serenade, Ace Enders And A Million People and Dashboard Confessional shouldn´t hesitate to listen to this amazing record.
