Punk76: So hows the UK fans been treating you?
Sherwood: It's hard to tell!  Uk reactions, just like Japanese reactions, are a lot different than in the US -- they seem to differ by city much more than I would think. But in general, I know that we are being well-received; it's just hard to tell sometimes.

Punk76: Which venue has been the highlight on this tour for you so far?
Sherwood: Probably Cologne was the best at the Luxor.  But if you want a UK venue, that would have to be the Belfast show -- I forget the venue name, but Northern Irish are crazy and awesome!

Punk76: You describe Sherwoods main musical influence as The Beach Boys, I am also a huge fan of the Beach Boys and saw Brian Wilson at the stunning Eden Project I daydreamed for a min that if I could go back in time and bring the Beach Boys to that day how much of an amazing venue it would be to see them live. Where if you could time travel would be your perfect place to watch a Beach Boys show and why?
Sherwood: This is a tough question because by the time that Brian made Pet Sounds, he was no longer playing live with the band.  So I guess, if there was any show at the Hollywood Bowl, or some similar venue, around 1966-67, that Brian performed with the group, that would be the show for me.

Punk76: I’ve been checking out your myspace page www.myspace.com/sherwood and I have to say nice work on the Sherwood Show! Very funny I give it 4/4 giggles! How did that come about? Was it boredom that drove you or do you guys just genuinely love goofing around?
Sherwood: Both of those, plus the desire to have more ways to connect with our fans than just albums and concerts.

Punk76: On a scale of 1 – 4 Hearts, how much do you love UK Travel Lodges, and if I were to send this interview to Mr Grant Hearn, UK Chief Executive Officer of Travel Lodge, is there anything you would like to say to him?
Sherwood: This tour has actually been better; so I would give Travelodge 3 Hearts.  The internet always works, and MOST of the time the couch is long enough for me to sleep comfortably.  Hmmm, maybe 2 and a half stars because of the couch thing...

Punk76: The press has a tendency to rule what genre a band is seen as. You guys describe your sounds like as “A kid sitting on a tire swing, and it's getting late and his mom is calling him in for dinner...” Very imaginative but it’s a bit of a mouthful to use as a genre when writing about you. Would you mind breaking it down into 2/3 words that if it were up to Sherwood, you would ideally like the band to be described as.
Sherwood: Emo-indie-pop

Punk76: Thanks a lot guys, I will look forward to seeing you play the Underworld in the legendary rock n Roll epicenter of London….Camden Town!!!!
