Fireflight just released on February 9th 2010 their third album
trough Sony/ Flicker records. First track to find on the the record is "For
those who wait". The song opens up with a wonderful orchestra tune. Then
intense rhythm set in and lead singer Dawn Richardson (female vocals) starts to
sing. The record contains 10 wonderful songs, with tracks on that take about 3
- 4 minutes of time. In total there is 35.20 minutes of music on this CD to find.
"For Those Who Wait" is the result for making 10 years of music. The
album contains strong main stream Rock music, with generic riffs on to find, catchy
rhytms, impressive back-up-vocals and at least a beautiful female singers voice.
The lyrics ain't sound cheesy when Dawn is singing about God and Love. Indeed
this could be the right formula for success but in Europe this band is still very
unknown, altough they may challenge Paramore, Avril Lavigne and Nightwish. To me "Fireflight"
belongs to the very best female Rock bands, that I have ever heard. To me the
very best songs are "For Those Who Wait", "Desperate" and
"Core Of My Addiction", which is starts so reluctant and gets so powerful.
