Falling Up - Discover the trees again: The best of Falling Up

BEC Recordings. 07/22/2008 . written by Oliver . genre: Rock/ Progressive Rock/ Experimental

Falling_UpFalling Up definitely belongs to the very best bands to find on Toothandnail's sublabel BEC Recordings. The band debuted in 2004 with their album titled "Crashings". The record sold about 3000 units in the first week, which was a record on BEC recordings. In the end of 2004 the record sold about 50,000 units. Their 2005 release "Crashings" sold over 150,000 units. Another two albums got released afterwards. Every album differs much from the foregoer release. In 2004 the band had a lot in common with Linking Park, in 2007 they reminded me a lot to Jimmy Eat World and Incubus. The band has recorded four really great releases, that are full of infectious melodies, heavy guitars, synthesizers and effects. Discover The Trees Again: The Best Of Falling Up reflects the whole discography and shows clearly that Falling Up is a band with a great potential. I read on the internet that the line-up has changed pretty often; therefore I am not astonished, that their music turned out so different with the release of the next album.
