Endeverafter - Kiss Or Kill

Endeverafter was formed in 2004 by frontman Michael Grant. After releasing an EP in 2005 the band got singned in 2006 to Sony/Epic records. After several line-up changed and difficulties with the label the group released their debut record "Kiss Or Kill" on independet label Razor And Tie. Pete Wentz already showed strong interest to singn the band to his label Decaydance. I think Endeverafer might become the most interesting and the most particular band on his label, because of their true Rock roots. The band definitely got influenced by 80´s Rock bands like Van Halen and plenty of others. I really adore the straight guitar solos and the amazing refrains on "Kiss Or Kill". I often think of the band making a contribution to the Guitar-Hero series with one of their songs. I´ll guess these Heavymetal guitar-solos and drum-parts are really hard to re-anact. The most remarkable song is called "Next Big Thing". This amazing ballard sounds like a Badstreet Boys track to me - but that´s pretty ok, because the song is good and really romantic as well. To me the debut record is really a surprising and fresh record, with super-great guitar riffs and solos. Michael Grants´ voice sounds pretty mature and it fits well into the Heavy-metal scenery. Fans of ZZ-Top, Valient Thorr, Turbonegro and Bon Jovi.
