Am I worthy enough to review the newest CD of the biggest punkrock Lords on earth? I try: 'Cool to be you' contains fourteen songs by The Descendents, wich appear on Fatwreck. Once again the Descendents proove who is the boss in punkrock. They are in buisness since the seventies and they influenced infinitive bands, from Lagwagon, Dogwood, The Ataris etc. 'Cool to be you' contains 14 catchy Poppunk songs, driving guitars and harmonies. Stephen Egerton and Bill Stevenson, who worked as producers here, are to find in their old functions as guitar and drum players. Karl Alvarez (Armchair Martian/ All systems go/ Gogol Bordello) underlines all songs with his dynamic bass lines. 'Cool to be you' is a must have for everyone, that likes cathcy pop Punk!
