Wow, this is a pretty interesting DVD, especially when you never have been to the Vans Warped Tour. "Beyond Warped" is the latest DVD release from the Vans Warped Tour and it gives you an exciting view about the tour, the people and the bands. There are so many different kinds of people, so you find street punkers, hardcore and emo kids at the tour- as well as some very normal dressed people- all out there to see their favourite bands. The DVD starts with Bowling for Soup, who play in front of a larger audience that all sing along with the band. The manner of filming is unique and it works well: there are several people walking with their cameras through the crowds who take shots of the bands, or the crowd, or anyone at the tour, and they also show the bands in small interviews. Naturally you also see several bands performing live, including Billy Talent, Guttermouth, The Matches, Mae, The Bled, Duane Peters and many more. This is fun and I like the fact that you get views from all areas of the festival. The DVD gives you a pretty good impression about the whole tour. Seems like the Warped Tour is really fun. In my opinion this is the best DVD to date! Highly recommended on P76.
