The HivesLet me make it pretty short here: The Hives are one of the best bands on this planet and therefore this DVD speaks for itself. This masterpiece shows in a very impressive way, that The Hives are born to make music and to entertain their audience at the same time. The DVD was shot at the Ancienne Belgique in Belgium. The audience is celebrating their heroes like mad, while Pelle Almqvist and his band mates rock on stage like weird nerds. It is really delightful to obey how the band performs all those great songs, like "Abra Cadava", "Main Offender" or "A.K.A. I-D-I-O-T" , on stage. This DVD has a real stylish artwork and the clue about it is, that the whole material is divided into three sections: 1st section consists of live recordings from the Belgium venue, 2nd section contains a weird bio, presented by a fictional character, called Mr. D.W. Johnson and at least you find all your favourite music on video. This DVD masterpiece will even infect sceptics. You can´t refuse to sing-a-long or to dance along with the band, when they perform live on stage.
