The DVD navigation opens up and you can choose between “play all”, which contains some behind-the-scenes footage or you decide to choose “play concert”. I decided to experience them live first, so I chose “play live”. I had never seen Something Coperate before and was instantly impressed. The focus is on Andrews piano, which stands right in the middle of the stage and I promise you, that guy is able to play. Unfortunately, we Europeans don´t get the chance to see SC live very often, so the DVD gives you an good look at what the band is about: pure pop, amazing melodies, screeching guitars, slamming drums and piano. Andrew almost loses his head while playing his piano in a crazy ecstatic way. The vocals are clean and Andrew hits all the notes, while you can seamlessly hear every instrument. SC plays all your favourite songs from their both releases (Leaving through the Window/ North) plus some unreleased songs. I should mention the amazing video quality. They had a whole crew of people running around, taping the band on video. The light engineers perfectly guide the band on stage - with soft blue light when Andrew starts his sentimental and cosy ballads on piano, and kick off with a distinct red when the band gets more aggressive again. SC are professionals and I am glad to recommend them here on P76.
