I really have to admit: This is the best music DVD that I have ever seen. I missed a Coheed And Cambria show in Germany once, and this DVD gives me a good and detailed insight how the band performs on stage. Claudio Sanchez and his band mates look like some washed-up hippies but actually they are deities on their instruments. Their show was recorded live at the Starland Ballroom, which is a pretty big club in the US. There are numerous camera shots that show the band from many different views. The DVD quality is awesome - the picture is very clear and I like the fact that the filmers pan the camera over the audience celebrating their heroes. It's great to see the kids singing along and sometimes even people screaming passionately to the band's music. Claudio and his mates are heroes; they deal with their instruments like masters and it's impressive to watch all that amazing guitar and bass-guitar work! It's also so fascinating to listen to the seemingly fragile voice emitting from a huge man who looks like a Gorilla. (I don't want to ever get into a fight with Claudio!) This band impresses me with their range by playing smooth and soft passages and then, when you least expect it, the next second they explode like an erupting volcano. This DVD is so fantastic, it reveals so much about the band and truly shows how they turn into a well-oiled machine on the stage. It also solidifies that Coheed and Cambria is a professional band that deserves to be on a major label. It seems the band's popularity is growing so this is the perfect time for this release since it allows such excellent insight to what this amazing band is all about. The DVD has fantastic artwork as well as a bonus - Sony Records had the brilliant idea to record the full show on an extra audio CD so you can listen to the show anywhere.
