Copeland - Eat Sleep Repeat
The Militia Group . 10/31/2006 . written by Oliver . genre: Indie/ Pop/ Emo
I was so frustrated when The Get Up Kids quit their job. I loved their record "Something To Write Home About" so much. I was so much into those flattering piano- and violin parts. I enjoyed those soft and emotional songs so much. Now, years after "Something to write.." comes Copeland back with their third full lenght record, on The Militia Group. One aspect at first: Copeland has released a flawless Emo-/Indie-Rock masterpiece on TMG. I have never heard a better Indie record before. Let me tell you about "Eat, Sleep, Repeat": The record contains 11 awesome, melancholic Rock tunes. The most outstandig track is called "Love affair". This great track contains piano and trumpet. In general I can quote, that accoustic songs collide with piano, electric guitars and soft drums and sentimental vocals. I could only call this record "release of the year". Get that record, if you´re into bands like GUK, Umbrellas and As Tall As Lions.
