Brazil - A hostage and the meaning of life
Fearless Records . release date: 04/20/2004 . written by Oliver
This
hot release might take Brazil to another dimension.
After years of abstinence, these guys returned with a milestone in
modern Rock music - some of you may call their music Post-Hardcore
or probably Emo-Rock. The band recorded twelve songs that differ very
much in comparison to the songs on their foregoer EP (Dasein). These
guys have become more creative, more intensive and more powerful over
the years. May may become attracted by the new LP, if you´re a fan
of The Mars Volta or At The Drive. Alternative Press gave them
"five out of five points". So what could you expect more? Brazil comes
up with a fresh mix of piano, violin, weird vocals and well driven Rock music, underlinded by Jazz elements and synthesizers.
Their music sounds very vital, intelligent and outragious to me.
