Bottom Line - Eloquence
Nice Guy Records . release date: 05-31-05 . written by Oliver
A
new rising band from the punkrock scene is called Bottom Line.
The band released their latest CD, “Eloquence”, on canadian indie
label Nice Guy records. On Eloquence you'll find only one fast tune, the rest consists
of mid-tempo songs. This release is pretty interesting, because it offers
an amazing art work on one hand and on the other hand it contains twelve melodic
punk rock tunes, recorded with amazing quality. The band definitely got
infected by diverted bands like Fall Out Boy, Autopilot Off or The Starting
Line. The melodies are amazing, the young singers voice is pleasing and the
whole record has turned out really bright and well. The melodies wake desires
for summer. Bottom Line has learned a lot from other bands, so you
can find even violins, soft input of trumpet and samples, which add
to the beauty of the record. I am totally amazed by those lovely back
up vocals, done by the other band members who strongly remind me to
Rufio. This band has alot of skills and they are able to play excellent melodies. So what you need more?
