The
Punk/ Ska band Big D. And The Kids Table formed in
95´ in Boston. They started out in 97´ on Fork In Hand records and
got signed to Asianman records in 99´. First off I need to admit,
that I am not related on Ska bands anymore. The CD starts with a big
Ska party scenario. The next song is really rocking and it shows enormous
similarities to Goldfinger or even to Lawrence Arms. The CD contains
a lot of fast and aggressive songs, often interrupted by horn and
trumpet. I mentioned before, that I am not really into horns and whipping
guitars any more, therefore I can´t really reflect the bands potential.
But I can assure you, that if you are into Skapunk, then you may like
the singers raw voice and those dynamic songs might be exactly what
you need.
