Bayside
is a very great band, that deserves some kind of bigger attention
here. Bayside differs from many other bands, mainly because of the
singers voice, which is more than extraordinary. This guy totally
reminds me to Morrissey (a well known Pop Rock singer from the UK).
The band is back with another full lenght release on Victory records.
The bands shows it´s brisky potential directly from the beginning on.
The record starts with a fast song, while the rest of the record consists
of mid tempo- and slow songs. Several songs like "They look like strong
hands" bribe the listener with cosey and warm vocals, combined with
back up vocals and great guitar work. Victory records always pays
attention on the recording quality and therefore the new Bayside record
impresses trough a great recording quality, which makes the whole record
really serious and enjoyable.
