Amber Pacific - Thruth in sincerity

Amber Pacific has released it´s second full lenght CD on Hopeless records. The record is called “Thruth in sincerity” and it contains 12 Pop Punk songs. The record starts off with a dark and frightening orchestral tune, fallowed by a super fast Skatepunk tune, called “Summer (in B)” – in my opinion it is the very best song on the record. The tune is pretty fast and I really like the good refrain, that deals with the theme of love and sarrow. In general the record offers a lot of fast tunes, combined with catchy choruses and well placed riffs. Another outstanding song is called “Take me from this place”. Piano and violin are dominating this song, while there is a super catchy refrain to find as well. The next song is called “Fall back into my life”, that has once again such a gleamy and beautiful refrain. I like the essential message in that song: “..if you fall back into my life, I´d spend every night waking up to the beat I hear inside, telling me to be your only one...”. This song really shows a lot of personal feelings towards a person, that did not gained the kind of attention, that she has deserved in the past. In general I can resume, that Amber Pacific made an evolutonary step forward. Many people describe their new material as their strongest effort so far. Although the band worked with an real orchestra and although there are so many good songs to find on the record, am I not the person who think, that “Thruth in sincerity” has turned out to be their best material. I really like their foregoer record (The possibility and the promise/ Hopeless 2006) even more. I was more convinced about their foregoer record, that contained stronger melodies and more power.
