Amber Pacific - The possibility and the promise
Hopeless Records . 05/25/2004 . written by Oliver . genre: Pop Punk
Amber Pacific- a great name for a good band. I am serious here: Amber Pacific somehow sound like the little Autopilot Off brothers. A mature voice and raw midtempo songs with infectious melodies make this young band so brilliant. The voice, the structure and the melodies really remind me so hardly to Autopilot Off. Their debut EP, wich is called Fading Days, is so full of energy and melody, that there is just one word left to say: Impressive. These 19 year old boys from Seattle are self confident enough to conquer the punkrock scene. They signed with Hopeless records, which is a good label for Pop Punk bands. To classify this record into a certain genre, I would call it mid-tempo Poppunk with a very mature voice. This release is symphatic and impressive at all. The band ends up with an accoustic song, which even shows parallels bands like to Knock Out (Fearless) and The Starting Line (DriveThru)
