ATL started out on Hopeless records in 2006 with their brilliant EP "put up or shut up". Their well crafted Pop Punk style had a lot in common with Fall Out Boy. So I found the same amazing melodies and perfect back-up vocals, just that I knew from Fall Out Boy before. Now ATL is back with a full lenght CD on Hopeless records. The CD is called "So wrong, it´s right". The first thing, that I recognized about the new CD was the great and colourful artwork, that shows some dancing people, surrended from birds. I really like that. The second thing was, that the band has become much faster. The record does not only consits on Pop Punk tunes, so you find Skatepunk tracks now too. "So wrong, it´s right" contains twelve really good made songs, that show a lot of power on one hand and a lot of sensitiveness on the other hand. In general the new record contains more power and energy in comparison to their foregoer EP. Survey: The record is good and it contains really great and melodic songs. But I really have to admit, that I feel kind of bored the more I listen to the record. Ok, sometimes I feel reminded to very old The Ataris and Fall Out Boy stuff. But every song on "So wrong, it´s right" sounds pretty identic. I miss the variety here a lot.
