Alexisonfire - Watch Out

Although I am so sick and tired of all those screamo bands, I do need to convince myself here, that Alexisonfire is really one of the greatest and strongest bands, that I have ever listen to! They have two singers, which share the vocals. I know, that there are many cool bands out there, like Emery or Underoath, but do yourself a favour and listen to this masterpiece. The complete recording shows so many exciting parts and different faces. I like those silent, magic parts when Dallas Green - the singer with the dulcent voice takes over. These passages contain so much passion, emotion and soul underlined by several instruments or syntheziser. But suddenly the whole surface explodes when wild and intensive screaming parts set in, George Logan Pettit is doing the aggressive throat. He definitely is better then many singers, that you find in countless other bands out there. Some songs leave you in a relaxed and silent enviroment, others are superfast or even just agressive. But none of those songs are getting boring. It´s the very first time that I feel reminded to Nathan Gray, who is singer in Boy Sets Fire. What I mean here is, that I find exactly the same intensive and exciciting emotional parts, that I found in BSF as well. One last intersting aspect about Alex are these crazy back-up-vocals and the very good recording quality. The sound is very bright and you can hear every single instrument so clearly. The back up vocals remind me to Bro´ hymn from Pennywise. This band is not a stupid and boring Screamo band. No, they are a serious Rockact from Canada, who reached Platin with "Watch Out" in Canada.
