Aiden - Nightmare Anatomy

Sometimes I do wonder, if I am to old for this kind of sound, cause this sound definitely affects younger emo-, hardcore-, heavymetal- and glamourpunk kids. On the other hand I am totally impressed by this talented band as well. Aiden is a brandnew signing on Victory and to make it short here: They are totally simple to describe. These five guys sound like mixture of those bands: The guitars and drums totally remind me Thrice and Avenged Sevenfold and the voice, as well as the sound pattern, totally remind the listener to My Chemical Romance. To be honest: They haven´t invented anything new and somehow they really just sound like a good copy of all those bands, but nevertheless they are good. Their sound is seriously great and well made. Those screeching heavy-metal guitars, those choiruses, the singers voice, those melodies and the ductile drums really fit perfectly together. The whole album is surrounded by a story about nightmare. The album ends with an frighten, dark and strange reading. If you are into the quoted bands, then you shouldn´t hesitate to buy those well recorded 11 songs. Although they really sound like a copy, I can think of this band becoming big.
