Against all Authority - what a great band name! AAA stands for beeing against the system, for announcing the problems of the USA and for beeing against an idiot - the president! The themes sound familiar to you and you start thinking about Anti-Flag? Against all Authority have a clear message, that can be read everywhere: For example in the booklet of the new record, that has come out on Hopeless records. “The Soundtrack to World War III sounds like this!” or “Question Authority as often as it questions you!” consits of a dirty Punkrock attitude with provoking lyrics. AAA is known for a screaming singer, with a raw voice. But this record is not just an angry piece of music with sreaming parts on it. The more you listen to the tracks, the more they become funny and ironic. Sometimes the band inserts Ska elements, some songs consists of Rock songs with Pop appeal. I often felt reminded to the newer Less than Jake stuff. One point of critism: AAA has not shown any changes or deployment. The message of the band from Miami is important, for sure, but sometimes you may the feeling, they should seperate themselves more from bands like Anti-Flag. In fact this is a fine album, for fans of the band as well as for fans of politcal Punk. The Restauration of Chaos and Order was released through Hopeless records in 06´.
