It seems as if New Found Glory has left Geffen records. Their new EP Tip Of The Iceberg got released on Brigde 9 records. You may wonder, if you listen to the new EP. New Found Glory recorded three cover songs and three on their own. These songs are not compareable to their past releases. The band plays killer fast and melodic tunes on their new EP. This is really an interesting outtake.

The Terrible Twos, fronted by Matt Prior (Get Up Kids/ New Amsterdams) released If You Ever See An Owl on Paquito records. Matt explains, that The Terrible Twos plays just music for kids. Vagrant records has found a subdivision label, called Paquito records, that is only gonna release music for kids. You can download a brandnew mp3 from The New Amsterdams, called "Eleanor". The band has left Vagrant records and got signed to Elmar/Curb Appeal records. In Germany you can purchase the new album via Arctic Rodeo records. You can also stream their new album on Myspace. European fans may get lucky now, because Matt Prior and his bands join Europe - especially Germany - for a full tour in may.

In true David VS Goliath fashion, Irvine based Sanuk has been awarded one of the footwear industry’s most prestigious awards “Footwear Item of The Year 2007” by trade publication Footwear Plus. The independently owned Sanuk is credited with creating an entirely new category in casual footwear called SIDEWALK SURFERS. Also known as the “Not A Shoes”, Sidewalk Surfers are actually sandals that have a shoe upper attached to them. The result is an addictively comfortable "shoe" that has grown beyond the company's surf roots
